On March 25th, 2021, the 4th lecture on Russian culture and history within the framework of the "The Russian Way" project took place at the Financial University. The event was organised by the FinU International Students and Faculty Department with the aim of promoting a multifaceted and rich Russian culture to foreign students.

This time, Head of the International Students and Faculty Department Anatoly Kislyakov told foreign students about the banknotes that had circulated in the Russian Empire.

The students learned the names of money units, the history of their creation and production, and also learned about the currency of the USSR.

During the lecture, Mr Kislyakov spoke about the origin of state banknotes and also introduced foreign listeners to such terms as "Marka".

Friendly reminder: regular participation in the lectures allows foreign students to get extra points for their admissions portfolio required for entering bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
