On February 22, 2021, foreign students studying at Pre-University Training Faculty had an open lesson dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The female part of Group PF-2 congratulated their male classmates on Defender of the Fatherland Day.

During the open lesson, the teacher told the foreign students about the traditions of celebrating this day in Russia: on February 23, women congratulate men, give them gifts and call them defenders of the Fatherland.

Initially, only those who served in the army or navy would receive congratulations on that day, but as time went on all men started to be congratulated, regardless of whether they joined the army or not. This did not happen at once, and now men are perceived as protectors not only of the Fatherland, but also of their families and relatives.
