TikTok at FinU!

On February 12, 2021, an online meeting was held at the Financial University. Developing cooperation with the Russian office of TikTok for further promoting the Financial University in social media was on the agenda of the meeting. 

TikTok, a video-sharing platform, is the world’s fastest-growing social media app. It is an open platform that provides an opportunity for everyone, regardless of their age and hobbies, to realise themselves. The content is pretty diverse: besides entertainment videos, there is also useful educational content. This social network is an important tool for promoting the university brand abroad. That’s why during the meeting special attention was paid to the university’s  advertising integration possibilities into TikTok.

On behalf of the Financial University, Alexander Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, welcomed his colleagues. During the welcoming speech, Vice-Rector Linnikov thanked the representatives of the Russian office of Tiktok for their interest and active assistance in developing cooperation.

Partnership Manager at TikTok Marat Bulatov explained in detail the possibilities of cooperation between Tik-Tok and the Financial University.

"Currently, Tik-Tok is the most popular platform with audiences of all ages from all regions of the world. Attracting students to the development of social networks is a solution to eliminate barriers in communication", comments Marat Bulatov.

During the meeting, Head of the Department for Education at TikTok in Russia Sergey Kokhitchko expressed hope for further cooperation.

We are very pleased to meet with the Financial University. I hope that today we have laid the foundation for future partnership relations, which will develop into fruitful and long-term cooperation

Alexander Popov, Chief of the Corporate Portal, Alexey Sereda, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Office, and Sergey Zhilin, Head of the TV-Service of the Financial University (FNTV), also took part in the meeting.
