Financial University welcomes its new partners and expresses confidence in long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation!
February 4, 2021, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Financial University, represented by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Alexander Linnikov, , and Liaoning University (Shanghai, PRC), represented by Vice-President for International Cooperation Sun Shiguo.
Liaoning University is one of the leading Chinese universities oriented towards the international educational market. The special status of the Liaoning University is confirmed by its membership in the National Project 211. This project includes universities which are given priority by the state in the 21st century. The aim of the project participants is to train highly-qualified staff for the national economy, as well as to build a personnel reserve of the Chinese elite.
Within the framework of the agreement signed, the parties agreed to launch joint scientific research, support academic and cultural exchange between students and organise reciprocal visits by teaching staff in order to share teaching experience, improve qualifications and exchange research strategies.
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications showed great interest in developing this partnership. Dean of the Faculty Prof. Alexander Shatilov is an Honorary Professor at the Liaoning University. Prof. Shatilov visited the Liaoning University twice with a series of lectures on topical political issues and gave a speech at the conference entitled "Transformation and Development of Eurasian Countries, and Chinese Reform: Experience and International Comparisons".
Currently, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications is working with the Liaoning University on creating a joint educational program in Political Science.
