January 26-29, 2021, graduate students who joined double-degree programs offered by the Financial University and the University of Grenoble Alpes (Grenoble, France) attended the Winter School 2021. The program was implemented remotely on the Zoom platform.

The Winter School 2021 was a week-long program which included a short series of lectures on "Organisation Management within the Framework of International Cooperation" and "Human Resources, Organisation and Change Management" as well as online meetings with academic supervisors and professors from the University of Grenoble Alpes.

This unique opportunity enabled the grads to get to know their second alma mater better and meet with their professors from the University of Grenoble Alpes.

The final meeting was attended by the FinU representatives. The Department of World Economics and International Business and the Department of Psychology and Human Capital Development made presentations on the disciplines taught at the Financial University, scientific interests of the teaching staff, their future development plans and prospective research projects.

In the future, the University of Grenoble Alpes aims to continue cooperating with the Financial University not only in implementing joint master’s programs, but also in establishing joint PhD programs, conducting joint research and projects with the FinU professors and students.

The University of Grenoble Alpes academic staff noted the high level of training of the FinU students, their interest and active participation in the educational process.

Scientific Director of the program "Management of Human Resources and Economic Changes in Enterprises" Michel Rocca stressed the necessity of such joint meetings not only with students, but also with the FinU representatives to improve the interaction between the universities, and also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the FinU professors.

Head of the program "Organisation Management within the Framework of International Cooperation" Pierre Berthaud expressed great interest in the possibility of scientific cooperation with the FinU professors.

According to Michel Rocca and Pierre Berthaud, a specific feature of these joint master’s programs is their uniqueness in terms of educational disciplines and an opportunity to work remotely.

Financial University is confident in the further fruitful cooperation with its French partners and thanks its colleagues for organising the Winter School 2021 for graduate students!
