On January 19, 27 and 28, 2021, Financial University joined a series of webinars organised by the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The webinars were dedicated to the following topics: "Building more resilient health systems: good practices and current issues", "Rehabilitation strategies post-COVID-19" and "Leadership in social security".

Representatives of the national social protection committees of Germany, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Estonia, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Tunisia and other countries joined the events and made presentations on the topical issues. 

The Virtual Symposium on Leadership in Social Security was organised by the ISSA Technical Commission on Organisation, Management and Innovation. The Symposium united more than 400 national member organisations from more than 100 countries, including the Russian Federation. Thus, the Symposium was attended by the FinU Department of Psychology and Human Capital Development, the Department of Public Finance and the Department of International and Public Law. 

President of the ISSA Joachim Breuer and ISSA Secretary General Marcelo Caetano welcomed the participants. 

This year the ISSA plans to hold the XVI International Conference on Information and Communication Technology in Social Security in Tallinn (Estonia) and the XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2021 in Toronto (Canada). 

The FinU participation in the activities of the International Social Security Association will expand the network of professional partnerships with leading foreign organisations in order to implement joint scientific initiatives as well as national priorities of the Russian Federation.
