On January 25, 2021, an agreement on implementing joint master’s programs was signed between the Financial University and the Sapienza University of Rome (Rome, Italy).

Sapienza University of Rome is one of the oldest and most prominent universities of Italy. The university is included in the TOP 3 best higher educational institutions of Italy and TOP 5 best universities of the world. Moreover, it takes the 182nd place in the ranking by QS World.

Within the framework of the agreement, the parties will exchange students under the master’s program "International Finance and Risk Management". The program will be realised at the Faculty of International Economic Relations whose management made every effort to ensure effective organisation of academic mobility programs at both universities.

Upon successful completion of the studies (120 credits under the European Credit System), students are awarded two separate diplomas in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and Italy:

– Master’s degree "International Finance (in English)" from the Financial University;
– Master’s degree "International Finance and Risk Management" concentration "Investment and Banking Activities and Banking Services" from the Sapienza University of Rome.

These diplomas are recognised by European countries as a Master of Science degree and entitle students to start their postgraduate studies.

Such programs will strengthen cultural ties and academic contacts between the parties, as well as the quality of the educational process through the exchange of experience and information on teaching methodologies.
