An event dedicated to the vaccination against the COVID-19 infection with the "Sputnik V" vaccine was organised on January 20, 2021. The vaccine was developed by the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Honorary Academician N.F. Gamaleya of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

Alexander Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Financial University, was one of the first to participate in this event, setting an example for all students and staff.

During the vaccination process, all the necessary safety measures were strictly observed by all participants:  social distancing, wearing masks, gloves, and plastic face shields. One could find out more about the usefulness of the vaccine on the special stands located in the area.

The developed "Sputnik V" vaccine not only facilitates the development of antibodies against the coronavirus infection, but also contributes to the formation and strengthening of one’s immunity. The "Sputnik V" vaccine  has successfully passed all clinical trials, is completely safe and can protect your body from the infection for up to 2 years.

Participants who got a vaccine received a vaccination certificate.

Russian citizens are highly recommended to protect themselves and their relatives by getting a vaccine, because these difficult times can only be overcome together.
