November 25, 19.00, leading PLM expert and entrepreneur from Newton (Massachusetts) Oleg Shilovitskiy will be giving a lecture within the framework of the program "Visiting Professor" at the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis.

The lecture will cover the following topics: 

1. Current trends in developing and implementing PLM-systems. Development directions of PLM-systems in the modern world. Main problems and prospects of the development;
2. The main PLM vendors and their features. Possible competitors Autodesk, Siemens or Dassault;
3. Problems encountered in implementing PLM systems, etc.

Oleg Shilovitsky is the co-founder and CEO of OpenBOM. He has been developing software products for data management, engineering and production for already 25 years. He developed PDM and PLM software and worked for companies such as Smarteam (acquired by Dassault Systemes), Dassault Systemes ENOVIA, Inforbix (acquired by Autodesk) and Autodesk.
