November 8, 2020, an online Open Doors Day was held at the Financial University. Future students managed to learn more about academic mobility and double-degree programs and ask any questions of their interest.
During the presentation, Head of the Department for International Cooperation Lilia Prikhodko noted a number of unique opportunities offered by the Financial University: study abroad and double-degree programs, summer schools, scholarships and grants. In addition, she dwelled on joint educational programs and double degree programs, which are currently available at the university. She also noted that the Financial University is implementing a distance-learning program with the University of London.
Deputy Dean for Educational Work Ekaterina Popova made a presentation about the Pre-University Training Faculty which provides training to foreign nationals.
The mission of the Pre-University Training Faculty is to prepare students from foreign countries, who do not speak Russian, for further studies at the Financial University or any other higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation in bachelor’s, master’s and postgraduate programs.
Head of the International Student and Visiting Professor Department Anatoly Kislyakov also spoke at the event and presented the adaptation program for foreign trainees. For example, Financial University assists foreign students in migration and visa issues and organises social and educational activities for them.
