The International Cooperation Office of the Financial University held an online briefing on October 14, 2020.
The briefing was opened with a welcoming speech by Alexander Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
The mission of the International Cooperation Office is to provide assistance in the development on the international level, strengthen partnerships with foreign universities, and contribute to improving the quality of education. Let us develop new initiatives, contacts, as well as realize the set goals
The briefing covered the establishment of new and implementation of the already existing joint educational programs with foreign partner universities, as well as maintaining cooperation with partners from abroad.
Lilia Prikhodko, Head of the International Cooperation Department, made a presentation on implementing virtual academic mobility programs.
“The aim of the program is to improve the quality of training in terms of methodology, to introduce new methods and strategies. The goal is to show how necessary and relevant it is to invite foreign specialists”, notes Lilia Prikhodko.
During the meeting, the International Cooperation Office discussed the issue with foreign trainees who are unable to enter the Russian Federation.
Anatoly Kislyakov, Head of the International Student and Visiting Professor Department, spoke about day-to-day work, training and constant interaction with students.
New performance indicators of the FinU faculties with regard to international cooperation were also discussed.
Deputy Dean for International Cooperation Khvicha Kharchilava gave a presentation “Calendar of Events”. He thanked the staff of the International Cooperation Office for their constant cooperation and mutual assistance.
“Dozens of professors from all over the world are ready to cooperate with the Financial University. The faculty is actively developing cooperation with the universities through double-degree programs, and academic exchange of students and professors. On the initiative of Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Maxim Kotelnikov, we started to collaborate with the Qatar-Russia Foundation”, notes Khvicha Kharchilava.
Representatives of the faculties reported on the results of international activities and also asked questions concerning some organisational issues.
