Diploma Award Ceremony

Financial University congratulates alumni and wishes them further success!

September 16, Diploma Award Ceremony for the alumni of the double-degree program with the University Grenoble Alpes was held at the Financial University.

The ceremony was opened by Deputy Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodical Work Denis Smirnov.

“Dear students, you have worked hard to get a diploma from one of the leading universities in France. You have expanded your knowledge from a professional perspective: you have been the first to work with the Moodle system, to learn what it is like, to study in another country and on another language platform. I wish you further success in all your professional endeavours”, says Denis Smirnov.

Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Maxim Kotelnikov also congratulated the students during the ceremony.

On behalf of Rector Mikhail Eskindarov and on behalf of the entire International Office, I would like to congratulate you on graduating from the best state university in France! This priceless knowledge and experience that you have obtained will help you find yourself both in your future employment and studies

In addition, Coordinators of International Programs at the University of Grenoble Alpes Natasha Collet and Valentin Bartoli welcomed the students through the teleconference bridge. They appreciated the high academic level of the FinU students and invited them to participate in another joint educational program, but already at the master’s level.

After all diplomas had been awarded, Head of the Department for International Cooperation Lilia Prikhodko asked the students to share their impressions of the program. The students stressed the importance of receiving training in a foreign language.

In addition, the students thanked the Financial University and the University of Grenoble Alpes for organising a study visit, which allowed them to experience studying in France, and now they can truly consider the University of Grenoble Alpes to be their second Alma Mater.
