Double-Degree Programs with the University Grenoble Alpes

September 10, junior and senior year students from the Faculty of Economics and Business attended a presentation dedicated to the double-degree bachelor’s program offered at the University of Grenoble Alpes.

The university is a leader among French educational institutions in the level of development of bilateral partnerships with Russian universities. The distinctive feature of the University of Grenoble Alpes is double-degree programs allowing a large number of students to receive a state diploma of the French university with the help of modern computer technologies.

The presentation was opened with a welcome speech by Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Ekaterina Bezsmertnaya and Deputy Dean for International Cooperation Khvicha Kharchilava.

This program is really unique. And what makes it even more special is its online format, which obviously has a large number of advantages, which we did not even know before”, notes Ekaterina Bezsmertnaya.

Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Maxim Kotelnikov greeted the students and congratulated them on the beginning of a new academic year.

This is a unique opportunity for the FinU students. The program opens huge possibilities to obtain a diploma in one of the leading state French universities when the global pandemic is in full swing and the state borders are closed

Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Office Alexey Sereda gave a presentation and provided details of the program.

Currently, the University of Grenoble Alpes is one of the main strategic partners of the Financial University. Within the framework of the program, students are free to choose the language of learning, English or French. The studies involve working independently with the Moodle educational platform and taking full-time examinations at the Financial  University. In case the epidemiological situation improves, students will visit the picturesque alpine city of Grenoble. Our French colleagues will organise an exciting tour in the spring of 2021!”, shares Alexey Sereda.

During the presentation, each student was able to ask a question and receive a detailed answer, thus finding out certain peculiarities of the program.
