Alexander Linnikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, speaks at the session of the Russian-Italian Forum-Dialogue. Genry Sardaryan, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Politics of the MGIMO University, offered a welcoming address and spoke about the experience gained in building partnerships with the overseas universities, launching student exchange programs, and the opportunities of bilateral academic cooperation development. Ernesto Ferlenghi, President of Confindustria Russia, an association of Italian businessmen operating in the Russian Federation, Co-Chairman of the Forum, was the session moderator. He spoke about the key opportunities for the Russian-Italian cooperation development in the field of education, research, technology and innovation development. In turn, Vladimir Dmitriyev, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Co-Chairman of the Forum, spoke about the two countries' business community members' cooperation development prospects, including cooperation in the field of advanced technology, research organizations' interaction, scholars' and entrepreneurs' cooperation. During the round table discussion session, the participants discussed the prospects for developing Russian-Italian and multilateral cooperation in commercialization of research results and innovation introduction. Bilateral and multilateral cooperation success stories were also discussed. The parties also identified further cooperation areas.
