Dear alumni, my friends!

My heartfelt congratulations to you on one of the most exciting, significant and joyous events of your life - successful graduation from the Financial University and earning a higher education diploma.

I must admit, I’m very sad to part with you, especially given the fact that, due to the spread of a new dangerous coronavirus infection, your last few months of studies have been conducted online, a format we are all not familiar with. The tense epidemiological situation has made serious changes not only in our plans, but also in the way of life itself, and above all, it has deprived us of the joy of live communication.

But I would like to point out that despite all the obstacles that have befallen to you this school year, you have overcome those challenges with honour. And the proof of that is the diploma you’re holding right now. It is the result of your hard work, your desire to acquire knowledge and a future profession. You are the first full-time students in the history of our country who have passed the state exams remotely in the form of graduation thesis defence, and in fact have confirmed that you are true professionals. Even under extreme conditions, you are capable of achieving your objectives.

I am proud of you, and I trust that you will succeed in your chosen endeavours and be able to implement the most courageous ideas and plans.

Unfortunately, we still have to maintain social distance, and all our traditional celebrations are held online. But as soon as the epidemiological situation allows, I will be happy to see you again in the walls of the Financial University at the traditional "Alumni Reunion" to share with you the warm memories of the pleasant and carefree student years and to hear about your first professional victories and achievements. The doors of Alma Mater are always open to you!

Good luck with with your future endeavours!
