Analysts from hh.ru analysed CVs compiled by graduates from Moscow universities in the period of 2018-2019 on the site hh.ru. The rating included 9 professional areas with the most data available: each of the areas contained at least 1,100 summaries, where the educational institution was indicated, and at least 20,000 vacancies available in Moscow, which proves the high demand of these specialists in the labour market.
The purpose of the rating is to assess the demand of graduates by employers through measuring their mutual activities in the labour market. There was no survey carried out among the graduates, and no criteria were measured, so that nothing can influence the quality assessment of a faculty, such as publications in journals, teaching staff, number of PhD and Doctorate degrees awarded, etc.
The following professional fields participated in the rating of Moscow faculties 2019-2020 from hh.ru:
1) Information technology; 2) Law; 3) Economics and finance; 4) Personnel management; 5) Marketing communications; 6) Medicine; 7) Journalism; 8) Tourism and hospitality; 9) Construction and architecture.
