Office of the Rector The Rector supervises the work of Vice-Rectors, Directors, and Deans. The Rector also supervises directly the Expert and Analytical Center, the Rector’s Secretariat, the Registrar Office, the First Department.
President Scientific Adviser, Dmitry Sorokin (Deputy Marina Fedotova), ensures high quality of scientific publications, coordinates the preparation of qualified personnel through postgraduate and doctoral studies as well as Scientific Examination Board; directly supervises the Office of Scientific Certification and the Council of Young Scientists.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Ekaterina Kameneva, works on improving the university’s educational and methodical activities, licensing and accreditation of educational programmes; directly supervises the work of the Institute for a Second Higher Education, the Institute for Online Education, Distance-Learning Institute, the Lyceum, the Office for Methodical Support of Educational Programmes, the Office for Quality Assurance of Education, the Library and Information Complex, the Centre for Advanced Research and Development in Education.
Vice-Rector for Research and Development, Vladimir Maslennikov organises research, analysis and consulting activities of the university; directly supervises activities of the Scientific Institutes and Centres, the Office for Coordinating Scientific Activities, the Office for Coordinating and Supporting Scientific Events, the Group for Pre-Project Development and Commercialisation of R&D and Student Research Society.
Vice-Rector for Strategy and GR, Alexander Safonov, organises strategic development of the university, coordinates cooperation of the university structural units with the state authorities, directly supervises the Office for Development Programmes, Office for Branch Development (including Moscow Colleges), Office for Career Development, Alumni Relations and Partnerships.
Vice-Rector for Marketing and Admissions, Svetlana Bryukhovetskaya, supervises the development of marketing activities of the university as well as cooperation with talented youth and applicants, directly manages the Office for Career Guidance and Working with Gifted Students, Admissions Office, Marketing Office, and Business Incubator.
Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Alexander Linnikov, manages international cooperation of the university, coordinates international activities of the faculties, directly supervises the International Cooperation Department, the International Student and Visiting Professor Department, and the Pre-University Training Faculty.
Vice-Rector for Social Work and Extracurricular Activities, Alexander Kozharinov, provides educational and social support for employees and students, directly manages the activities of the Office for Extracurricular Work, the Department of Social Work, the "Forest Lake" Resort, amenity buildings, residence halls, the Service for Providing Accommodation, the Sports Club and the Department of Physical Education as well as the Student Olympic Club.
Vice-Rector for Digitisation, Alexey Anosov, supervises digitisation the university, directly manages the Office for Information Technology Infrastructure, the Information Technology Support Service and the Digital Transformation Centre.
Vice-Rector for Organisational Work, Sergey Komarov, is in charge of organising activities of the Rector’s Office, dean’s offices and departments, ensures protection of the university’s facilities, organises catering, directly supervises the activities of the Office for Security and Access Control, the Transportation Office, the Secretariat for the Office of the Rector and Deans, the Civil Defense Department, the Print Department and the Catering Service.
Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development, Tatyana Lobayeva, directly supervises activities of the Office for Property Relations, the Corporate Procurement Office, the Capital Construction Office, and management of the Property Complex.
Vice-Rector for Continuing Education, Elena Didenko, organises development of continuing education programmes, directly manages the Centre for the Development of Continuing Education, the Institutes and the Centres for the Continuing Professional Development.
Human Resources Director, Eduard Sukhov, is in charge of planning, developing and training of the university staff; directly supervises the Personnel Administration, the Staff Planning and Development Centre, the Institute for Improving Professional Skills and Staff Retraining, the Labour Safety Service and the Second Division.
Director of Economic and Financial Affairs, Alexander Ivanov, is in charge of the Office of Financial Planning and Budget, the Accounting Department, the Centre for Labour, Wages and Contract Work, and is in charge of the economic and financial stability of the university.
Director for Monitoring the Activities and Development of Branches (including Moscow colleges), Natalya Yudina, coordinates the work of branches, is in charge of the Department for Working with Branches.
Head of the Expert-Analytical Center, Oleg Kuznetsov. The Service ensures the preparation of informational and analytical materials for the Rector, legal support, monitoring of the performance and the execution of assignments. The Expert-Analytical Center comprises the Rector’s Office and the Rector’s Advisory Unit, the Assignment Monitoring Unit, the Internal Control and Audit Service, the Legal Service and the Public Relations Centre.
Head of the Rector’s Secretariat, Anzhelika Kharashvili, is responsible for organising activities of the Rector, planning and coordinating the work schedule of the Rector and processing documents entering the University, directly manages the Office of Records and Archives and the Rector’s Secretariat.
Scientific Secretary of the Academic Council, Vita Zvyagintseva, is responsible for organising activities of the Scientific Council of the University and the Scientific Councils of the university faculties and institutes, directly manages the Academic Council.

Our university is consistently in the TOP 20 universities in Russia and is also internationally acknowledged.
Financial University was ranked 586 by the Round University Ranking (RUR) among the best universities of the world, it was awarded the rank "World League", and in 2020 the university was ranked 351 in economics and 401 in management in the subject rating QS University Rankings.
