Congratulations on the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War!
We commemorate this important date in the history of our country and pay tribute to those, who at the cost of their lives defended our Motherland and saved the world from fascism. Their feat is immortal.
This memory, which lives in the heart of everyone, is passed down from one generation to the next, it unites the multi-ethnic population of Russia and helps to overcome any obstacles.
On this special occasion, Financial University expresses gratitude to veterans and war participants Major-General Semyon Ermakov, Captain Petr Nikolsky, Boris Srebnik and Lydia Krasavina, whose life became "the moral compass" for students, a role model for serving the Motherland, courage, fortitude and honour.
We bow low to those who defended the independence of our homeland, worked hard in the home front, brought the Great Victory closer and restored the destroyed cities in the difficult post-war years. Eternal glory to the fallen for the freedom and independence of our Motherland!
Unfortunately, we must celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory in difficult circumstances due to the coronavirus infection.
However, this does not diminish the significance of this event for all of us, and all families will commemorate their heroes on this day.
Our most important task is to care about the veterans, the elderly people, our relatives and loved ones and to do everything possible to protect them from this dangerous infection.
I would like to emphasize that the whole of 2020 has been declared the Year of Remembrance and Glory, and the Financial University will organise all the celebrations when the epidemiological situation improves.
Dear veterans, be healthy, happy and live long! We will always remember the price of victory, stand firm against all attempts to falsify history and do our utmost to ensure that our country is always strong and independent.
