On behalf of the Financial University, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Associate Professor of the Department of World Economics and World Finance, PhD in Law, Alexander Linnikov expressed gratitude to the moderators for running the lecture successfully.

Alexander Linnikov spoke on the history and evolution of banking law in Russia. He also shared some examples from his own experience. Moreover, he highlighted the challenges the banking system of Russia has been facing after the crises of 2008 and 2014 as well as pointed out new issues arising during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Master class on "Legal Framework for the International Banking and Financial Business in Russia" is a part of Alexander Linnikov’s series of lectures on the basics of the Russian Civil, Business, and Tax Law for European students and teaching staff in April-May 2020 in Rome.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a face-to-face series of lectures has been postponed to the autumn of 2020, and master classes on the most interesting and relevant issues will be held online.
