​​​​On November 15, 2022, events were held in Russia with the participation of the FinU Institute of Financial Literacy – the federal methodological center of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

On this day, an Interregional District conference was held in the North Caucasian Federal District “Methodological Foundations for Improving Financial Literacy of the Adult Population”.      

The discussion, organized by the Institute of Financial Literacy of the FinU – the federal methodological center of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, was devoted to the methods of developing financial literacy, scaling up the best practices of the NCFD regions throughout the country.       

The conference was attended by experts and specialists in the field of financial education from Moscow, Stavropol, Vladikavkaz, Cherkessk, Grozny, Makhachkala and other cities.​

The conference program also included two specialized sections on the forms and methods of improving financial literacy among adults and practical aspects of the development of financial literacy among adults. As part of the work of the sections, more than 10 specialized reports were presented.

​A conference on the financial literacy development was held for the executive authorities in charge of regional financial literacy programs in the Southern Federal District. 

​​The conference program included a profile section “Methodological Foundations for Improving Financial Literacy of the Adult Population”, organized by the Institute of Financial Literacy. More than 9 specialized reports were presented as part of the section.​

Experts discussed the current state of adult population financial literacy, concepts, methods and technologies of financial education, practical experience in the field of financial education in the Southern Federal District.

Also, Mikhail Petrichenko, Head of the Institute of Financial Literacy took part in the workshop “Improving Financial Literacy as a Factor of Increasing Citizens’ welfare and Strengthening the Country’s Sovereignty”, during which an exchange of views on key issues took place with representatives of other federal methodological centers for improving financial literacy operating on the basis of the Higher School of Economics, RANEPA, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
