On October 31, 2022, a regular meeting of the FinU  Academic Council was held, where an agreement on cooperation between the FinU and the Self Regulatory Organization “Association of Professional Actuaries” was signed in a solemn atmosphere. 

In his welcoming speech, Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector noted the special importance of actuarial calculations for the Russian economy as well as the importance of training professional actuaries.

​The working part of the Academic Council meeting was opened with a report by Svetlana Bryukhovetskaya, Vice-Rector for Marketing and Work with Applicants, on the admission rules to the FinU, the number of admission places and the list of entrance tests for training in higher education educational programs – bachelor’s, specialty, master’s degree programs, training programs for the faculty in postgraduate studies for 2023/2024 academic year, as well as the list of Olympiads and other intellectual competitions at the FinU for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Further, in accordance with the agenda, the Plan of educational and methodological work for the 2022/2023 academic year was considered and the list of training programs for faculty in postgraduate studies was approved, according to which the FinU announces admission in 2023.

The meeting continued with the report of Irina Sivtsova, Director of the FinU Lyceum on the results of the Lyceum’s five-year work.

At the same time, as part of the Academic Council meeting, other issues of the FinU current activities were also considered.
