On October 26, 2022, a traditional Job Fair was held at the FinU with the participation of full-time employers. The main organizer is the Department of Employment and Career Development of the Directorate of Employment, Career Development and Work with Alumni. This fall, the event was held for employers and job seekers in a new way – in the format of a Career Marathon.
More than 30 organizations took part in the event: the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the FAS of Russia, the Federal Tax Service, the Interregional Accounting of the Federal Treasury, the Federal Treasury Department for Moscow, the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Moscow, the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Moscow Region, the Government of Moscow, the Government of the Moscow Region, the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow, the Accounting and Reporting Center, GRFC, the Bank of Russia, PJSC Rosbank, Sber, VTB Bank, Alfa-Bank, UniCredit Bank, PJSC “MOSCOW CREDIT BANK”, Tinkoff, MTS Fintech, AO DOM.RF, Technologies of Trust, B1 Group of Companies, Kept, Business Solutions and Technologies, Bellerage, FBK Audit and Consulting Group, ASB Consulting Group, GEROPHARM, Employment Center “My Job”.
A distinctive event feature was the organization of live broadcasts with the employers’ participation in the format of a talk show:
a blitz interview from the Business Solutions and Technologies on the topic “Career Opportunities for FinU students in the Business Solutions and Technologies”,
a public talk from the Interregional Accounting of the Federal Treasury on the topic “Mentoring in the Interregional Accounting of the Federal Treasury”,
a public talk from JSC “Tinkoff Bank” on the topic “Jobs of Those Who Understand Investments”,
a presentation of career opportunities in the Government of Moscow,
a blitz interview from UniCredit Bank on the topic “How to Build a Career as a Financier in Practice: Top 5 Skills for Success”,
Rosbank’s workshop on the topic “Life Hacks for Starting Your Career from Tatiana Medvedeva”,
a blitz interview of the B1 Group of Companies on the topic “How to Find Your Success Code at the Start of your Career?”,
a public talk from “Trust Technologies” on the topic "Career start in the company "Trust Technologies".
On the online platform of the event, virtual stands of employers with a description of career opportunities were presented, where students and alumni had the opportunity to move from one virtual employer stand to another, get acquainted with vacancies and internships and send their resume to employers participating in the event.
As part of the event, online consultations were organized from the Department of Employment and Career Development with students and alumni. Students learned how to plan a career correctly and determine their career preferences.
At the face-to-face event, students and alumni communicated directly with HR specialists, got advice from employers, submitted their resume, learned about labor market trends and work specifics in various fields, about internship opportunities, internships and prospects for further employment, took part in employer quizzes and won prizes.
More than 15,000 participants took part in the Career Marathon at the FinU on October 26: more than 8,000 participants joined the live broadcasts, more than 7,000 people visited the virtual booths of participating companies and about 3,000 students and alumni took part in a full-time job fair.
The marathon participants noted the high level of organization and holding of the event and a wide range of opportunities for self-realization and building a successful career.
