On August 30, 2022, the results of the VI Moscow International University Ranking "Three University Missions"-2022 were announced. FinU entered the interval group 501-550 in the world ranking and the group 18-22 among Russian universities.
The ranking "Three University Missions" in 2022 includes universities from 103 countries, including 146 Russian educational institutions. Russia is among the top three ranking countries in terms of the number of higher education institutions represented. The competitive advantages of our country are still the success of students' participation in international Olympiads, a high proportion of foreign students, as well as a variety of prepared online courses. In terms of victories and prizes at prestigious student competitions, Russia is noticeably ahead of most countries with significant representation in the ranking (USA, China, Great Britain, Australia, South Korea, etc.). In terms of the foreign students' exchange indicator, Russia's leading universities surpassed the global average for the first time last year, and this year the gap has increased even more: Russian universities have increased the share of foreign students to 12.3%, while the global average has decreased to 11.4% (largely due to the reduction of this parameter among universities in China and Japan). As for the massive open online courses, for Russia they have become one of the main drivers in the ranking: the number of courses for the year has increased by an average of 30%.
FinU in the new ranking has improved its position compared to last year and entered:
- the interval group "501-550" in the world ranking
- the interval group "18-22" among Russian universities
