February 12, 2020, International Service of the Financial University organised a briefing with the teaching staff. Anatoly Kislyakov, Head of the International Student and Visiting Professor Department, chaired the briefing.
New initiatives and current issues were discussed during the briefing:
1. Results of winter examinations among foreign students of the 2019/2020 academic year;
2. Methods of rating foreign students.
A new strategy for rating foreign students is currently being developed. It will like into account their academic progress as well achievements in science, sports, and extracurricular activities. This rating will help analyse in detail achievements and failures of foreign students, and motivate them to take their studies more seriously.
