On July 1, 2022, Anton Siluanov, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation congratulated the alumni of the FinU Faculty of Finance on the successful completion of their studies and presented diplomas to them. The solemn ceremony was traditionally held at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

“I congratulate you on your successful graduation from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. I am sure that the knowledge gained within its walls will be in demand in any profession. The success of both government organizations and businesses depends on the right financial decisions. It is important to improve your knowledge further to become great specialists. I am convinced that very little time will pass, and the Financial University will be proud of your victories and high professional achievements,” said Anton Siluanov.

The alumni were congratulated by Svetlana Solyannikova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Head of the master’s program “Public Finance Management”.  She thanked them for the interesting joint work, wished them success and added that the doors of the FinU are always open for them. Olga Polyakova, First Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Finance, heads of specialized educational programs and faculty also congratulated the alumni on the occasion.

38 alumni received documents on higher education in a solemn atmosphere.  Among them there are 10 graduates of the bachelor’s degree who got diplomas with honors in the profile “State and Municipal Finance”, 9 graduates of the master’s degree program “Public Finance Management” and 19 graduates of the master’s degree program “Public Sector Finance”.

Alumni of the faculty showed significant results in the learning process, and proved themselves in the scientific and social life of the FinU. Many of them were awarded nominal scholarships for excellent studies, and were awarded with the rector’s commendations.

Bachelor's degree graduate Pavel Romaykin, holder of a diploma with honors and winner of the Rector’s Award of the Financial University in 2022 in the nomination “For Contribution to the Development of Research Activities” shared that throughout his studies he tried to show high results and gain knowledge. “We have worked a lot together with the supervisor, we have many victories at competitions of different levels. I see my future in master’s and postgraduate studies. I’m planning to develop in the field of science,” says Pavel.

Olga Shveykina, a graduate of the master’s degree program, noted that the knowledge gained due to the program “Public Finance Management” helps a lot in work and in life in general.
