Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and North Ossetia are expanding the cooperation areas in educational, scientific and social directions.
As part of the business visit to the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honorary Economist of the Russian Federation had a meeting with Boris Dzhanaev, Chairman of the Government of the Republic.
During the meeting, the parties discussed possible development vectors of bilateral relations. The agenda included cooperation in the scientific field, namely faculty participation in developing programs and models for developing the economic sphere.
So, according to Rector Prokofiev, the FinU administration is going to expand the range of professions in narrowly deficient areas of secondary education in the Vladikavkaz branch. In particular, we are talking about the specialties related to information technology that are in demand today.
The FinU Rector also noted,
“The Vladikavkaz branch of the University has a very good dynamic. Therefore, I wanted to see with my own eyes how the University lives and what kind of help it needs for further development. It was also important for me to meet with the administration of North Ossetia and find out how we can be useful to the republic. We are ready for any suggestions. The FinU head office has many projects that we can possibly implement in your republic, if it is necessary.”
Boris Dzhanaev noted that the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation is one of the best educational institutions in Russia. According to him, both the FinU itself, located in Moscow, and its Vladikavkaz branch, which provides students with a quality education, are very popular among the residents of the republic. “I consider it necessary to develop our relations, expand the possibilities of human resources policy, and pay more attention to new formats for students. Sergey Menyailo, Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, sets us the task to comprehensively support education so that young people, entering adulthood, are as qualified and in demand as possible, ready to solve all the tasks assigned to them,” the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania stressed.
As a result of the visit and according to the job market demand, it was decided to launch programs for lawyers specializing in economic issues.
As Stanislav Prokofiev emphasized, the FinU is ready to participate in solving social problems and has projects for professional staff retraining of persons highly likely to be fired as well as many other categories of citizens.
Boris Dzhanaev thanked the guests for their desire to actively cooperate and stressed that the FinU numerous opportunities and experience can be very useful and effective for solving strategic tasks and socio-economic development of North Ossetia.
