On May 23, 2022, the last bell rang for graduates of the FinU Lyceum. The solemn event took place in the Nobel Hall of the Financial University on the fifth birthday of the Lyceum.

 

Graduates, parents and teachers were welcomed by Rector of the Financial University Stanislav Prokofiev. In his welcoming speech, the Rector noted the high level and quality of the educational process provided at the Lyceum.

 

 “The Lyceum of the Financial University consistently takes the leading positions in the ranking of schools not only in Moscow but also in the whole Russia,” noted the Rector. 

 

The Rector stressed that the priority directions of the Lyceum’s development include the goal of making quality education accessible to schoolchildren from different parts of the country. So, today Lyceum students come from more than 30 regions of Russia.

 

“I congratulate you on successfully completing an important stage of your education ,” said the Rector, “I hope that the knowledge gained here and the ability to achieve your goals, also formed within the walls of the Lyceum, will help you in the future. We will be glad to see you doing a degree at our University, but even if you choose another university, I want you to succeed, so that you become professionals and remain decent people who love their motherland and the Financial University that became a starting point in your life”.

 

The Rector also congratulated the parents of the graduates, thanked the management and teachers of the Lyceum for their work and presented Letters of Gratitude to the Lyceum students and teachers. The winners of the awards became 6 graduates and 5 teachers.

 

Irina Sivtsova, Director of the Lyceum of the Financial University, addressed the students and guests with a welcoming speech. She expressed gratitude to the teachers and parents of the graduates for their joint work. “Thank you for being a united team, solving important tasks together,” said the Director. Addressing the children, she wished the graduates good luck and success.

 

The special guest of the Last Bell ceremony was Head of the NGO “Association of Olympic Winners” Artem Shishov. He noted that lyceum students show high educational results and are among the leaders according to the results of the Olympiads. Artem Shishov wished the graduates not to stand still, look for something new, and to develop their talents.  

 

The program was continued by performances of graduates and creative teams of the Lyceum and the Financial University.
