On April 15, 2022 at 14.00 Natalia Poklonskaya will give a workshop, organized by the Student Club “Self-Management beyond Borders” on Verkhnyaya Maslovka Street, 15.

Poklonskaya became famous after the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation in March 2014. In May, Natalia assumed the post of Prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea and launched a program to combat corruption and organized crime on the peninsula. On September 18, 2016, she was elected a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation on the list of the United Russia party, without being a member of this party. 

On October 13, 2021, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree on appointing Poklonskaya as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Cape Verde.

On February 2, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin, by his decree, relieved Natalia Poklonskaya of her duties as Ambassador of Russia to the Republic of Cape Verde and by another decree appointed her Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation.
