On April 1, 2022, an International Round Table “Russians Abroad. The Return of Forgotten Names: E.N. Yakovlev (1885-1934)” will be held at the Financial University.
The purpose of the Round Table is to present new fragments of the history of “Russians abroad” and to popularize the contribution of Russian emigrants to the development of the countries that have become a “second” homeland for them. One of the tasks within the framework of the Round Table is also to popularize E.N. Yakovlev’s legacy.
We invite undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students, scientists, employees of the fields of education, culture, and art, and everyone interested in the announced topic to participate in the Round Table.
Languages of the event: Russian, English.
On the agenda:
The event will be attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the Russian Federation Juan Genaro Del Campo Rodriguez as well as descendants of Russian emigrants. Specialists in the field of the Russian diaspora emigration, historians, artists and workers in the field of culture will make reports. Within the framework of the Round Table, there will be a discussion dedicated to the contribution of Russian emigrants to the scientific and cultural development of foreign countries.
