Social Media Compliance

Meta Platforms, Inc., an American multinational technology conglomerate, has temporarily allowed calls for violence against Russian soldiers, participating in the special operation in Ukraine, as well as the leaders of Russia and Belarus on Facebook and Instagram.
We have always considered any incitement to violence, cruelty, dangerous and unlawful acts, insults and slander to be unacceptable not only on the official sites of the Financial University but also on the entire Internet.
“Education must remain outside politics, and science must serve the progress of all mankind”, shared
Rector of the Financial University Stanislav E. Prokofiev.
Our position remains unchanged, we do not share Meta’s decision. We will continue to uphold the principles of humanism and respect for the citizens of other countries.
Civic awareness, responsibility and adherence to the already existing code of behavior on the Internet are crucial in the current difficult geopolitical environment.
Also note that according to Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code, “public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” will lead to different scales of punishments from fines to imprisonment.
Mutual respect, value and support are fundamental at the present moment.
