Want to Support the People from the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions? Here’s How You Can Help

At the instruction of the Moscow Mayor, the ‘Mosvolonter’ center is now collecting humanitarian aid for citizens from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. The headquarter is located in the office of ‘Mosvolonter’ at Leningradsky Prospekt, 5/1.

Opening hours: 10.00 to 19.00 daily, including weekends.

Food, utensils, personal hygiene items and basic necessities may be brought in as humanitarian aid. Children require special assistance that is why toys, books and stationary will be much appreciated.

All items must be new, not damaged and labeled, and foodstuffs must be of long shelf life.

In addition, anyone can become a volunteer and participate in collecting humanitarian aid. Volunteers are assigned to the following tasks: distributing goods by category, entering information into the database and checking the shelf life of foodstuffs.

Assistance is provided in three shifts: 10:00-13:00, 13:00-16:00, 16:00-19:00.

The Russian Red Cross Society is currently taking steps to enhance the economic security of displaced persons from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.

The expenditure report will be published publicly monthly on the Russian Red Cross website. The needs of displaced persons are monitored on a regular basis. The funds raised will be channeled towards refugees and the equipping of temporary accommodation sites.
