Open lecture by University Professor Twente Philippe Bray «Artificial intelligence, questions of ethics».

Dear students!
On January 27 2022 at 19.00 we invite you to a public lecture by Philippe Brey, Professor at the University of Twente (Netherlands) on «Artificial Intelligence, questions of ethics», organised by Nuffic Neso Russia, a partner of the University of Finance, the Netherlands' public higher education agency.

Philip Brey will discuss the main ethical problems associated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and how to solve them.
AI is an extremely powerful technology that can bring many benefits to society. AI is now changing the way business, government, healthcare, law enforcement and education, as well as the way they communicate and search for information.

In recent years, it has been recognized that AI can also pose serious ethical challenges that, if not addressed, can threaten both the individual and the State. These include challenges to privacy, justice, freedom, the quality of society and its democratic processes.

The lecture is free to attend by pre-registration.
The lecture will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation into Russian.
