On July 2021, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Alexander Linnikov represented the Financial University at the International Industrial Fair INNOPROM (Yekaterinburg).

INNOPROM is the main industrial, trade and export platform in Russia, which has been held in Yekaterinburg annually since 2010.

In 2021 Italy was one of the international partners of the main industrial exhibition in Russia, which the Financial University has a long-standing partnership with.

At INNOPROM-2021, the partner country presented the achievements of Italian industry, innovative developments, investment opportunities and prospects for further cooperation between the countries. There are currently about 500 enterprises with Italian capital in Russia.

Italy views Russia as a long-standing and reliable partner, and is also interested in the further development of trade, economic and industrial relations.

Within the framework of the meeting, Alexander Linnikov discussed the most promising areas of cooperation between the Financial University and a number of Russian and Italian companies, such as: LEONARDO, ENEL, Marie Technimont, Machine Building Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.

As part of the XI International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2021, Alexander Linnikov took part in the Russian-Italian Business Forum.

Mr Linnikov paid his respects to the distinguished representatives of the Italian diplomatic corps in Russia —  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to the Russian Federation Pasquale Terraciano and Honorary Consulate of Italy in the Ural Region Roberto D'Agostino.

During the business forum, Alexandr Linnikov greeted the honorary guests of the meeting: Trade Commissioner, Director of ICE MOSCOW, Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy in Moscow Francesco Pensabene and President of ICE Trade Promotion Agency Carlo Maria Ferro.
