VII INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR N.D. KONDRATIEV MEDALS
The International N.D.Kondratiev Foundation and Russian Academy of Natural Sciences announce the VII International Competition for N.D. Kondratiev medals, which are awarded to Russian and foreign scientists for their outstanding contribution to the development of social sciences. The competition winners are awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals (one for Russian and one for foreign scientists respectively).
Contestants are invited to submit:
- published scientific works (series of publications) in two copies with a brief abstract;
- reasoned statements of nomination for medals by academic councils of research institutions and higher education institutions, Russian, foreign and international organizations for scientific research, full members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Nobel Prize and N.D. Kondratiev Medal winners, members of the Council of the International N.D. Fondratiev Foundation and и the RANS Branch for Cycle Research and Forecasting;
- information about the author and his/her contribution to science;
- reviews of the works submitted to the competition.

Decision on medal awards after the works review is made before 1 May 2012. N.D. Kondratiev Medals and Class I, II, and III Certificates are awarded in May 2012 at the VIII International Jubilee Kondratiev Conference (XX Kondratiev Readings), where the winners’ presentations will be head and afterwards published.
At an additional contest, young scholars (aged up to 35) will be competing for N.D. Kondratiev medals (with a gift of money). The materials to be submitted into the competition are similar to the above, but the envelope and the nomination statement should be marked “Contest of Young Scholars”.
