International Conference called Problems and Prospects of International Financial Relations under the Conditions of World Financial Relations Restructuring organized by the International Monetary Relations chair was held at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation on 24 October 2011.
The participants of the Conference discussed relevant issues of international financial relations development, including: development of world financial architecture, problems and prospects of creating an international financial center in Moscow, specifics and problems of fiscal and monetary policy efficiency in the EU, Russia and Japan under present conditions, trends in international capital flow, peculiarities of Islamic financial model and Islamic financial institutions etc.
Among foreign colleagues who took part in the Conference and made presentations were: Professor Edourad François de Lenquesaing (Advisor to the French Government, General Director of the European Institute of Financial Regulation), Frantishek Pavelka (Head of the Banking Chair, Banking Institute, Prague, Czech Republic), Professor Geoffrey Townsend (PMC, the UK), Professor Ishtvan Bentszes (Korvinus University, Hungary).
As the result of Conference its participants decided to continue scientific research activities in the framework of the development of international monetary relations school of the Financial University.
