On April 19, 2024, Anastasia Bondarenko, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, held an open lecture at the FinU. The meeting with students was held in the format of a live dialog - a conversation about a career in public service. The event was organized by the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of International Economic Relations. 

Opening the meeting, Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, noted the rich professional experience of Anastasia Bondarenko and emphasized the importance of constant improvement of professional skills in order to reach career heights.

Anastasia Bondarenko shared with the guests of the meeting her personal story of professional development, told about the peculiarities of work in the public sector, priority areas and modern principles of building a career in the public service.

In particular, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of a correct definition of professional goals, constant broadening of horizons, renewal of knowledge and motivation,

"You can find motivation only within yourself, record your small victories and remember them," the speaker explained.

Anastasia Bondarenko also gave the students tips on how to improve their professional skills when they are at the very beginning of their careers. The expert emphasized the importance of gradual acquaintance with all business processes of the organization, teamwork, and the institute of mentoring, and also noted the necessity of receiving feedback.

After the lecture, the participants of the meeting asked Anastasia Bondarenko personally about the most important skills at the beginning of her career.

Summing up, Anastasia Bondarenko once again emphasized the importance of customer-oriented approach in public service and expressed confidence that a new generation of specialists will solve professional tasks based on people's needs, since the ultimate goal of public service is to make everyone's life easier and more comfortable.
