On April 17, 2024, the Big Student Ball of the FinU took place at the BASE concert venue — the most romantic event of spring for all students.
Many interesting activities, surprises and, of course, miracles awaited the guests of the evening. After all, this Ball of the FinU was dedicated to one of the most discussed topics - AI. The mood of the Ball was set by the theme "Cyberwarfare: the Code of the Matrix of Love", which demonstrated the confrontation of classics and new technologies.
Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, addressed the guests of the evening,
"May every moment of this Ball remain in your hearts and always remind you of the wonderful student spring! In fact, AI has entered our lives in a big way, but I am convinced that it will not be able to replace the joy of live human communication, romance and love!"
Stanislav Prokofiev introduced the debutants of the Ball and announced their dance. More than 2000 participants spent an unforgettable evening full of dancing, emotions and magic. Students took part in interactive events and competitions, including the announcement of the King and Queen of the Ball and a fashion show of the candidates of the Miss FinU 2024 competition. The creative teams of the FinU gave their best performances for the guests of the holiday: the choreographic studio "Frappe" and the hip-hop studio, the modern dance collective "Liberte", the ensemble of drummers and the vocal ensemble "FINMUSE", the student theater "FUnt", VIA "Atmosphere". The Ballroom Dance Studio held a master class on Bachata and Merengue. The event ended with a DJ set.
The Big Student Ball was held and left many memories for its participants and will be waiting for all interested students again next year!
