On 7 October 2011, a scheduled working visit was paid to the Financial University by a delegation from the University of Applied Science - The Saxion University (the Netherlands), including Ms Jassia Bos, personnel and partner institutions officer, and Mr. Bert Veld, Dean of the School (Faculty) of Finance and Accounting.
In a meeting with the guests from the Netherlands, the Financial University was represented by P.S. Seleznev, Director for International Cooperation, and O.N. Kabanova, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
The two parties discussed possibilities for the development of partnership relations in the areas of education and research: academic exchanges with the aim of delivering lectures as well as student exchanges on short-term study tours and as regular students on a reciprocal basis, joint research on such subjects as International Business, Innovation-Based Development, Corporate Governance.
Before the next visit of the Dutch representatives to Moscow at the end of October this year, the parties agreed to exchange their bachelor degree programmes in the English language and to prepare additional agreements on cooperation in the area of education further to the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 19 May this year.
